Join Nicole as she guides you through a Restorative Yoga class filled with gentle, supported postures designed to rejuvenate your nervous system and release deeply held tensions from the body and mind.
In traditional Restorative Yoga practice, we use supportive props (blankets, bolsters, straps & blocks) to gently stretch and strengthen the body. This workshop will use these tools along with pure medicinal plant and tree essential oil essences to carry us into deeper relaxation and to re-balance our bodies; bringing blissfully deep rest and relaxation to all.
David Ascenza from Gaian Rhythms will weave the restorative vibrations of singing bowls, bells and chimes into a blanket of relaxing energy. Through harmonious sound therapy, we experience a deep calming and relaxation that enables us to journey within and center ourselves during this beautiful, grounding winter workshop series.
Join us for a 90-minute MELT intro workshop with senior MELT Instructor, Shelly Pirroni, and experience immediate changes in how your body looks and feels. Learn simple self-treatments you can do at home to enhance your yoga, barre & fitness practices, relieve pain and stress, and live the healthy, active life you love!
This all-levels class will use specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Balls to simulate the results of manual therapy.
Relieve aches and pains brought on by stuck stress caused by aging and active living, reduce inflammation, ease chronic neck and low back strain, improve alignment, and learn how to keep your whole body working better.
Don’t miss your chance to experience this breakthrough self-care technique! All props and rollers needed for class will be provided to attendees.
The number 108 has spiritual significance, and that significance varies depending on who you ask. There are 108 Upanishads that make up the Vedic texts of Indian philosophy, there are 108 names for Buddha and for Shiva, there are 108 beads on a Tibetan Mala prayer necklace, and the Tao philosophy has 108 stars. More explanations exist, but how you interpret and set intention around 108 is what makes it personally sacred. Join us for the ritual and moving meditation of 108 Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutations, to mark the Winter Solstice. As we flow together, with breath and with movement, we will be setting intentions for the change of seasons and the Spring. What will your intention be? What will your Soulstice 108 manifest?
